“I don’t know if I like the sound of that. It’s bad enough that men look at me like their next meal, now some strange woman will in order to decide if I have what it takes to be an escort?” Misty asked and scrunched up her nose. Gabriella chuckled.

“Honey, you have nothing to lose. You’re gorgeous, have that long blonde hair and big blue eyes. Men will be asking for you as their escort on a regular basis. Trust me, it’s legit and I’ve done it myself.”

“I don’t want to go there alone and feel like I’m being watched.”

“We can go together, except I’m supposed to meet a client at the end and attend an after party. Maybe ask Brea or Fina if they can go with you to mingle?”

“Fina would not like this at all.”

“She doesn’t need to know why you’re going or that you’re being looked at. No one is going to approach you, Misty. This is the first step. Give her a call. I have extra tickets and great seats at one of the tables with very wealthy businessmen. One of them, and I won’t say which one, will be the one checking you out and seeing how you present yourself.”

“Oh, great. No pressure there. What the hell do I wear?”

“Oh, how about that purple number you wore to the fashion show?” Gabriella suggested and then took a sip from her coffee.

“That fancy?”

“Hell yeah. This is not some stupid low life escort service. This is for high-end men needing certain types of women to impress clients, or show off for some different reasons. Like the guy I went out with two nights ago, he had to impress this man who was purchasing multiple products from his company. My date was a total computer nerd and didn’t know how to really act like a regular guy and have fun. I helped him out and midway through dinner, my date was acting all suave with me and I was acting as if I was putty in his hand. He closed the deal, and gave me a grand under the table. That was in addition to my regular pay for the night.
